How to turn a photo into a Live Photo on iPhone
A still image can become a real Live Photo that plays with a press and hold in Apple Photos. The important distinction is the paired photo-and-motion format, not simply exporting a GIF or a video.
What is the difference between a Live Photo and a GIF?
A Live Photo is an Apple Photos asset made from a still image and a paired motion clip. Photos keeps the cover image and motion together, so the result can be browsed like a photo and played by pressing and holding. A GIF is a looping image animation and does not become a native Live Photo in the Photos library.
Four steps with Live.AI
